Then started over with a commando, and focused on ranged/melee mix. On my first playthrough i just went sort of trying everything at first, didn't mind much about builds or weapons (i used a psy freeak, and barely used any psy powers), then on NG+ i wanted a more psyu centered playthrought and also focused on armor/weapon building.
